Meet SlimSnap

SlimSnap is a screenshot utility for Mac and Windows that exports visual information as structured JSON for coding agents. Users capture a region or scrolling page, add arrows or callouts, and copy the resulting text into a development conversation. The export includes recognized text, element positions, and annotations that explain which part of the interface needs attention.

Capture and OCR run locally, and an optional connector lets compatible agents read saved captures directly. Long pages are divided into readable frames with one structured description covering the sequence. The published JSON schema also lets developers validate exports or build other tools that produce the same format.
