Meet Greenshot

Greenshot is an open-source screenshot utility for Windows. Users capture a chosen region, window, or full screen, then add annotations, highlights, or obscured areas in the editing workflow. The result can be saved as a file, copied to the clipboard, printed, or passed to another application. Configurable settings adapt capture and export to recurring work. A tester can mark the part of an interface involved in a bug, while a writer prepares an image for instructions or documentation. The capture and editing tools keep the selected screen area connected with the explanation being shared.
