Sweet Home 3D lets users draw a home's floor plan, arrange furniture, and inspect the layout in three dimensions. Working between the 2D plan and 3D view helps show how furnishings occupy a room before anything is moved. Models and textures provide material for decorating, and rendering tools create images or videos of the proposed space.

The application is available for computers, smartphones, and tablets, with an online version for WebGL browsers. Additional models, textures, plug-ins, and tools extend the project. Homeowners can compare room arrangements, while designers can use the visual plan to discuss furniture placement and interior ideas.
