Meet Window View
Window View is a browser tool for exploring the outlook from a chosen location on a building. Users navigate a three-dimensional globe, select a wall, adjust a virtual window, and move into an inside view. It offers a way to investigate the surrounding buildings and landscape before visiting an apartment or another location.
A sun-path overlay shows how the sun's position changes through the year, adding context to the simulated view. Selected locations are encoded in the URL so they can be bookmarked or shared. The project is open source, with instructions and examples available in its official repository.
