Camtasia Snagit is a screen capture and recording tool for Windows and Mac. It captures windows, selected areas, and scrolling content, then provides an editor for adding arrows, callouts, and other explanations. Step Capture follows a sequence of actions and assembles screenshots into a guide, which is useful for documenting a software process.

You can also record a screen walkthrough with audio and webcam input, then make quick edits before sharing it. Smart Redact helps obscure sensitive details, while themes keep the appearance of instructions consistent. A searchable capture library makes earlier material easier to reuse in training guides, customer instructions, and internal documentation.
