Distributed object storage with direct access to cloud files

Storj provides distributed cloud object storage for teams managing backups, media libraries, application data, and active archives. Files are encrypted and split into pieces that are spread across independent storage nodes, with erasure coding providing redundancy. Its S3-compatible interface lets developers and IT teams connect existing applications and backup tools without adopting a separate storage API.
Teams can use Storj as a destination for backups, an origin for content delivery, or a shared repository for large files. Object Mount adds a file-system interface to compatible object storage, allowing people to open and work with cloud files through familiar desktop applications and command-line tools on macOS, Windows, and Linux. Together, the storage service and mounting software support workflows that need both object storage integration and direct file access.
